By accessing or using MetisOS ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MetisOS provides a Digital Operator service—an AI-powered assistant that runs on dedicated infrastructure. The Service includes:
- A dedicated virtual machine running 24/7
- AI-powered conversation and task execution
- Sovereign memory that retains context across sessions
- Integration with third-party services
- Scheduled tasks and proactive notifications
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
The Service is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Refunds are provided at our discretion for unused portions of subscriptions
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
- Action limits reset monthly based on your billing cycle
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware or malicious code
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Generate spam or unauthorized communications
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
- Use the Service for illegal activities
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
6. Third-Party Integrations
The Service allows integration with third-party services (Gmail, GitHub, Slack, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MetisOS and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide the Service.
8. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate responses and content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before relying on it.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetisOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
